The centrepiece of every home at Christmas is the tree, but there’s no need to go out and purchase new bubbles every festive season. You can create stylish festive décor at a fraction of the price, year-after-year with Rust-oleum.
Add a minimalistic style to your Christmas tree with Rust-Oleum’s Sprays. Simply collect your chosen foliage from the garden and spray with your chosen colours or metallic. You can switch up the colours and filling as often as you like!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Ribbon
- Clear Fillable Bubbles
- Foliage
- Rust-OIeum Super Sparkly Glitter – Gold & Silver
- Rust-Oleum Rose Gold Metallic
STEP 1:
Gather foliage and ensure it is completely dry before starting your bubble project.
Move the foliage to a well-ventilated space and place on top of a dust sheet or some old newspaper.
STEP 2:
Take your chosen colours from the Rust-Oleum range and shake your spray can thoroughly. Hold the can approximately 30cm from the surface of the foliage and spray. Apply several light coats a few minutes apart and leave to dry in a well-ventilated area.
For this project Rust-Oleum Super Sparkly Glitter spray paint in Gold and Silver and Rust-Oleum Rose Gold Metallic were used.
STEP 3:
Once dry, pop your foliage inside the fillable bubbles and close them.
STEP 4:
Tie your bubbles with colourful pieces of ribbon and place them on your tree or around your home.
