The Logistics Administrator ensures the smooth operation of the warehouse, maintains inventory accuracy, and oversees the proper management of shipments. The role involves close collaboration with the transport and warehouse departments to optimize processes, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support customers during order collections.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and monitor the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accurate recording of all inventory movements.
  • Create and manage system documentation for receipts, shipments, and other warehouse transactions.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide data and reports from the WMS to support inventory tracking and warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with the transport department and the Outbound Team Lead to coordinate shipments and loading schedules.
  • Monitor and update all relevant transport and shipping documentation.
  • Assist customers visiting the warehouse for order collections.
  • Ensure customer orders are properly prepared and accurately recorded for collection or delivery.
  • Support inventory counts and stock control processes.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of warehouse records.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and team to ensure smooth operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or warehouse operations will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively.
