JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Salesman/Saleswoman for our store in Linopetra, with the main goal of providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. The person in this position will actively contribute to the promotion of products and the creation of a positive shopping experience for every customer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Politely serves and informs store customers, updating them about products, prices, and offers.
  • Reports to the Store Supervisor and keeps them fully informed about store operations and other matters.
  • Places products on the store shelves according to the Store Manager’s instructions.
  • Ensures the tidiness and cleanliness of the store space.
  • Processes customer orders by recording the order details, confirming them, and informing the customer about product availability.
  • Notifies the Accounting Department to create a new customer card.
  • Handles product exchanges and manages returns.
  • Fully implements the company’s commercial policy and internal procedures.
  • Takes care of receiving and placing products in the store and labeling them with prices.
  • Checks product expiration dates and removes expired products from the shelves.
  • Operates store equipment, identifies and addresses equipment issues, and communicates with technicians for repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience in retail sales
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and good knowledge of English
  • Negotiation skills, persuasive communication, strong reasoning, and quick thinking
  • Integrity, honesty, and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills
