Add a little magic to your life

The date on the calendar shows that is past December and most of us have already finished Christmas decoration.  Still, there is always a spot in our house, either a hallway or a small corner in our living room which is inevitably unfit to the whole decoration since we don’t pay any attention to it…

For starters, we locate this spot.  At the same time we look for a bar cart or a tea trolley.  We don’t mind about its condition since we can easily restore it by painting it with a suitable colour out of the Spray Rustoleum range.  It would be better if this spot is in front of a small wall that we can paint with a vinyl colour Crown Matt Vinyl Emulsion or give it a paint effect by applying one product from the great range of Valpaint products.

Meanwhile, we dig out several objects like glasses, vases, bottles, small canvas paintings, books, small decorative trees, ornaments and anything else that may seem useless.  We arrange them on the cart nicely and decide which colour shades we’ll use.

It’s a fact that Christmas time reminds different colours to every one of us. Some people may feel that a classic colour such as grey or a wood touch with red and green details and checked texture best suits the Christmas style. In contrast, there are some people who feel more comfortable with mild shades where white prevails and colour is only found on some decorative objects.

Of course, there is a group of people who prefer pastel colours, tend to like more childish shades and prefer soft backgrounds with a fresh touch.
Yet, there are others who insist on neutral shades and they have their rights.  They use shapes and objects, also in neutral shades and emphasize on lighting.  So, all the people enliven their life in their own way.

It might be confusing but we finally come to a conclusion… Let’s make the right changes to our wall, on the cart and even to the objects we have found.  (using the proper colour from the Rustoleum Spray range) so that they all match with each other.  We can also place a wreath, a painting, a mirror or anything else that fits with the rest of the objects, on the wall.  So, the project is completed and that unfit, neglected spot becomes part of the whole magic scenery.

Bar carts are a timeless trend that we always avoid.  So, we can make a difference by daring to keep this cart all year round.  Of course, we must remove anything that reminds of Christmas and add other objects that fit to each period.  This way, we’ll always be in the mood of each period and we’ll always have something unique to decorate our place.

Good luck and Happy holiday!
