Sun-drenched City is an optimistic palette made up of layers of yellow paired with accents of pink and green. The trend reminds us that there’s more to yellow than meets the eye.

Cheerful sunny yellows are set against contemporary mustard and rich burnt gold, whilst counterpart colours of floral pink and grassy green evoke the contemporary urban landscape.

Add texture and strength with metallic copper, concrete grey and charcoal black to give the trend structure by breaking up the colours into blocks.

Judy Smith comments; “Sun-drenched City celebrates bold colour pairings like mustard yellow and pastel pink. The key to this trend is order. Whilst these colour pairings are unexpected, they become balanced and considered when organised into different sections and defined by dark linear lines. Lighter tones of pink, sunny yellow and blue adopt a more sophisticated persona when teamed with grey, mustard and green. It all adds up to an energetic palette, which makes a strong, modern statement.”
